Haha..this is a very random post..i m now sitting in pharmacy student room, enjoying my another half an hour lunch break..
Lunch in hospital cafeteria is so cheap especially when u got staff prices..i had fish n chips withgreen peas n carrot as side dishes and guess how much i pay?? only $2.50!!! That is seriously cheap considering the portion i had is big and it actually tastes better than the pepper cafe in college in hobart..
Hospital placement in launnie had been very good so far and i got to visit many exciting wards eg. oncology, renal, cardiology etc..i even passed thru this special isolated room who got swine flu patient in it..wow...i got to see patents on chemotherapy and renal dialysis..which quite saddening when u saw hteir suffering faces.. tomorrow i will be going to paediatric ward and i think it will be more cheerful there..
The pharmacists are very friendly and kind to us especially Jill and Rachel..i am having lots of funs following my COPD patient too..That is all for now and more updates soon!!
