Last sat was sherwin's birthday and interestingly he organised a superhero/cartoon character party in college and can see that everyone put great efforts in dressing up for this party..And a few even planned for quite some times and i really admire some of their creativeness in arts.. and the best dressed males and females definitely worth the applauses.Have a Look!! and be very amazed by their cool ideas!!

Melb Trip (5) !!

The 3RD Day of Melb Trip:

I am a lousy blogger as this shud have been done ages ago..

Anyway, we didnt do much of travelling on 3rd day except shopping, eating and fooling around in melb city..hehe.

Morning:

Me, caleb and anna decided to wake up earlier than the rest to shop in melb central where MYERS, David Jones located.. Basically me n caleb just followed wherever anna go in the whole morning and phew..in less than one hour she bought one sweater and another shirts if i am nt mistaken..Though i m a shopper too, i must really salute this gal who can forget bout eating when it comes to shop!!

Later at 10 something i started to feel grumpy as it had passed my brekkie time. So i called up the rest and asked them to wait for us in Shark Fin(Yum Cha) restaurant. We got there at 11am and it was just opened. This was my 3rd time visiting this dim sun restaurant, not that it is super good but becos it is near and convenient. I really wanted to visit other restaurants next time as i heard that boxhill or some other places serve better n cheaper dim sums..Generally, the dim sums was good if u craved for dim sums for too long and bad if u compared to malaysia ones.

Afternoon:

Anna and YS have to catch a flight back to hobart and so the other five of us went to Smith Street where all the sport factory outlets located. We didnt spend much time there as 1) no big sales 2)i dont need any sport stuffs 3) the sports pretty outdated.

So we then went back to melb city and had bubble teas in a small cozy underground cafe. we took some silly photos and talked craps basically..haha..

Evening:

Suggested by andrew, we took many pictures in Fed square.. fooling around there again.. As if it is not enough, we continue our craps in a japanese restaurant called GIGI.. Finally i got to satisfy my cravings for sashimi and sushi..yeah!! Hobart really shud have more jap restaurants..

We spent more than 2 hours laughing and chatting there and even took a few videos there, Siao to the Max!! hehe..

Night:

After dinner, went to cinema and watch Angel And Demons which was quite good in my opinion. although many claimed that the book is nicer( which is always the case).. No regrets watching it..btw, if u watch late night movie in cinema here, noone will bother to check ur pass..there's onli staff at the counter sellign popcorns..wow..but of cos honesty is important in aus here..

Final Day of Melb trip!!!

Woke up by anlan's annoying alarm clock as everyone else is too lazy to off it..Then tricked by andrew by hiding my onli boots in the drawers..argh!!!

Went to melb central again as the two boys want to get hair cut..Then proceeded to DFO by city circular bus..Didnt buy much there as was too tired and sleepy after four days of sleep deprived.

Waiting around in DFO till 4pm and took skybus to melb airport. The flight was delayed by one hour and finally my this short but fun-filled melb trip officially ended!! Yeah!!

2nd Day of Melb Trip!!!

After the 3- 4 hours of ice skiing, five of us reluctantly left mt.buller. Our original schedule for ice ski was just 2 hours but as we picked up skiing skills we fell in love with it and noone wanted to leave. Considering anna and alicia who patiently waited for us outside, we decided to stop after 4 hours of ski..Was totally drenched and had to sit in car for another 3 hours on e way back to melb city.

Dinner: In spicy szechuan restaurant in chinatown at 9pm(it supposed to close at 9.30pm!!)..hehe.the dishes were better than the sambal kampong which we had on previous day, but abit too oily.the food doesnt have too much to shout for but worth for a try if u like spicy food very much..

Melb trip 3!!!

2nd day of melb trip!!

we went to woolworth nearby to get mineral water and some snacks..and see what i found!! Frozen durian in Melb..aww...even though i dont really like durian but it reminds me of msia...aww...Melb is really a happening city.

We reached Mt. Buller after the long 3-4 hours drive in Estima we rented.The long drive is definitely worth it when u the breathtaking scenery in mt.buller.. i dont like winter but when i saw the thick snow with beautiful scenery, i totally fell in love in it!!! No wonder it was one of the most popular vacation places in Melb.. we were very lucky as our car able to go uphill.. If the snow too thick, we have to take a bus up which will cost us $40-50 per person if i am not mistaken.. whew....

Five of us decided to try ice skiing which includes andrew, YS, anlan, Li yin, caleb and me.. the ice skiing costs about $146 inclu equipment hires, entrance fees, and chair lifts. Not that bad right? i heard some other places are like $300++..

The staffs measured our foot size, weight, n height and we looked like clumsy transformers with the heavy shoes we had..

Here we go!! oops..my unglam pink warm socks exposed again..(1st expose was when i was asked to take off my boots in airport when passing custom.hehe)

The chair lifts which brought us uphills to land..i always forgot to push down the safety bar n the staffs have to shouted at me from far..hahaha

i m really glad that i did this ice skiing as it is really awesome!! I will really hope to try ice skii in Korea or NZ if got chance.. Even though i fell so many times and had bruises all over my legs, but it will not stop me from ice skiing..It is another adventurous sport which i love to the max!! One of my childhood dream comes true..Yeah!!

In ice skiing, u must really be prepared to fall and dare to ski again..u must twist ur waist abit to control ur direction and turn ur legs diagonally to stop..

Melb Trip 2!!!

Still 1st Day of melb:

After dinner in Sambal Kampung, we went to Crown Casino for a walk. Outside casino, there is a bridge where many couples spend their sweet moments together. But we the nosiy bunch of ppl had interupted this romantic area..hehe..must be a let down for the couple le..

Then we went to supper inn(which shown in previous post)..This small restaurant opens from 6pm till 5.30am if i m nt msitaken..their porridge are well known but the service not so good as each of us has to spend at least $10 for the meal..This is abit not fair as :Eh, supper time leh, how to eat so much?? somemore one big bowl of porridge costs onli $6.50 which means we have to add in more appetizers or drinks to reach the quota..It's weird le..Anyway, i think they have their own consideration too, if not many ppl will just hang around in the restaurant without eating much, and they wont be able to make a profit out of it.. Maybe they can lower to $5 each person??

We didnt gamble in casino but fooling around there..hehe.

Melb trip during swine flu attacks!!

Today the result is out but for my course, most results onli out when uni starts..argh..i hope to check it by today even though it may turn out bad.. I had been slacking alot in this short two weeks holiday le..Basically i had been slacking alot in this short two weeks holiday even though i shud be working on my assignment which is due on next friday..oh yin yin..u shud definitely get started le!

haha..okie..when 2nd sem starts, i shud really get motivated and study CONSISTENTLY as this sem is the hardest sem with the heavy loads of units.. and also most seniors told me that they either failed or resit in this sem..Lord, i pray hard that i wont be the one!!
Okie, back to my post: Yes Melbourne trip!!

1ST DAY!!

we reached in melb airport at 1.30pm and took a maxicab to Essendon DFO.. Shopping spree!!! but to my surprise, i hardly bought anything, onli a light pink beanie and a shirt...is it that i lost interest in shopping or the sutffs at that moment really not appealing?? i hope for the latter one..hehe..i m happy as alicia told me that she likes the tops i chose for her..yeah!!

Dinner: we wanted to have dinner in spicy szechuan restaurant in chinatown but as there were 7 of us, we had to prebook first. so then we went to Sambal Kampung which served malaysia dishes..

i ordered Beef rendang and i regretted after few scoops as the heavy coconut taste made me very "jialat" even though the taste was not bad..i will not say this restaurant is good compared to others i had tried(of cos even worse if compared to msia ones) so this will not be my option again at my next visit to melb..

My braces is so coool!!!

Ytd went to tighten my braces again and as usual it hurts alot, even when i bite the soft muffin and ice cream cone..oh..n today it hurts even more..

But wat to do?? i chose to have braces one..ai mei mah..hehe

But i found something very cool about my braces though.. which is the checkpoint in shopping malls will beeeeppp whenever i smile passing them..due to detection of the metal wires le..haha..how cool was that!!

Now i waiting for the college guys to come down for a jog and u guys are late!!! i woke up at 8 and had my breakfast d..i m gg to have lunch soon if u guys still not down in 10 minutes!! hehe..
p.s . Caleb n others, be more punctual lah!! hehe..

Some stuffs have to be settled asap before it hurts ppl. some stuffs have to be made clear before it drags too long.. some stuffs have to be solved before it leads misunderstanding..

BUT, i am not good in this..i can do it very well in other way but not in this way..but since this is the way it wants, i will follow it..i dont know how the result will turn out to be, it may leave a hurtful remark, it may also be better than before, but at this moment i m really scared..as i am really not ready..seriously not ready for this..

All i can do now is to pray hard that the harm can be minimised to the optimum level and i deeply feel sorry for all the harms i made..i m truly sorry if it really hurts u alot..pls acept my deepest apologies..i dont mean it..

Lord, pls give me the wisdom in the talk later..pls...i need ur wisdom very much to say the right thing at the right time to the right person..

I am back from Melbourne!!

Woohoo!! i am back from my melb trip and i totally..truly enjoyed it to the max lah!!! I got to try my first ever ice skiing and the feeling is indescribable!! until now my mind still keep on flashing all the wonderful memories of ice skii leh and i had been stoning in bathroon and bedroom refreshing all the memories le..haha..Life is wonderful!!

I m gg to write a new post on this short but fun melb trip when i got time as it is gg to take at least few hours to upload all the videos n photos i think..n most my photos are in fren camera le..
