Thankful!!

I love everything in my KL new house except that there is no internet connection!! By the way, i am back form Tassie on wed 6am and had been staying in Subang for five days. This 5days subang stay is a 24hours non-stop makan trip!! Big meal like sushi, chilli crab, "sotong", teepayaki, wonton mee, duck noodle soup etc. to small junk food eg. egg tart, kaya puff, lotus buns, chinese pastries, pisang goreng etc.. Oh No!! i need lots of GYM now before everyone in hobart notice it..hehe.

Conclusion: the food temptation is really irresistible!

Praise Points in these few weeks:

1. I passed the exam especially the practical which i thought i had done so badly in it! One step closer to my pharmacy graduation. Yeah!!

2. I managed to change the flight of my international flight (i called on 29th nov and managed to get a 2nd dec air ticket, how unbelievable is that!)

3. I got to meet up with xanna and had a nice girlie shopping trip with her in One U

4. All my food cravings and home sickness are cured.hehe.
Side effects: wieght gain

5. I got GHD hair straightener which all the girls are talking about at very low price in Malaysia.Wow!! ( The aus market price is $ 299 and guess how much i got it? It's RM 250, RINGGIT Malaysia orh!! muahaha..)
Highlight: It's a limited edition pink GHD!

6. Thank Dad and Mum for their awesome birthday presents..I love it soo much. The GHD straightener, Clinique Facial Products from mum and Dior Addict 2 Perfume from dad..hehe























































I am really thankful for the Faithfulness and Grace God has shown me abundantly for these few weeks.He does not boost nor ask for repay about it, He keeps on giving without any hesistation, unconditional, beautiful and captivating.. Thank God, my heavenly father from the bottom of my heart!

Launie- A good weekend escape!!

If i were to know that launceston is such a nice place, i will have visited it many times in my last 2 years here. I know many people will feel shocked knowing that this is my 1st visit as launie is just 2 hours drive from hobart. hehe. but believe me that i will start visitng launie very often after this.

However, i find launie is abit too quiet to stay( onli a few shopping places..hehe) even though the scenery is really breathtaking and the food there is much cheaper and nicer than hobart.But it will be a good weekend escape with friends after ur long-tiring-torturing exam or working. No offence to those that have been staying in launie for ages ya..

So here is wat we did on these short but packed two days' trip (basically this is all-about-FOOD trip..hehe)


Saturday:

Most of my friends will know that i am a pork ribs lover and so when Ryan brought us to eat in Smokey Joe which has the best BBQ Pork Ribs in launceston, without hesitation, i agreed and wanted to jump up high!! And this restaurant is really deserved to be called the Best as i m really; totally; fully satisfied by its and enjoyed my every single bite of the pork ribs. Oh..i am still craving for it now.. And did i mention that they also serve the hottest chilli in world, called HABANERO and it is really super spicy but its nice aroma will just make u to go for a second try despite it burns ur tongue!!
And not forgetting the must-order-dessert Cobbler which tastes like sticky date pudding. The mixed warm and cold feeling in ur mouth will make u cant resist it even though it is so fattening.hehe.

Evening:
Dinner in Burger Got Soul (the owners in launie are quite creative le..hehe) The burgers are really huge and we all cant finish it. i ordered a Satay Sensation with thickening and yummy satay sauce. Yumm!! The Hot Mamma ordered by Ryan and jason is not bad though and i quite like it. Krystal ordered a brie cheese chicken which is quite filling.

Generally i enjoyed the whole trip to the max!! Thanks to the lovely hosts, skilful photographer, good companions, excellent food, good weather, scenic places, Cas's Wii Fit games, and not forgetting the two cute dogs in Cas's house called Chablis and Shaby!!

My 1st Musical Drama - Beauty N The Beast

Last Friday was a lovely day for me!! i can still remember every single moments of the musical drama. I really enjoyed the whole musical drama which is about two and half hours le. Not only because it's my favourite Disney Cartoon, but also i can feel the efforts that they put in to make it a blast. Afterall, it's just $50, u cant expect it to be like Phantom Of Opera which costs u over hundred. Generally, the whole drama was really fascinating and i was totally amazed by it!!

I had a very nice girlie shopping with flora and pam too! and we did many crazy stuffs in the Dotti fitting room!! hehe..Gals can easily go crazy when shop together. Below is just a small amount of what we did as most of the photos are with flora.hehe..


































Beauty and the beast
We only managed to a few pictures in front of the royal theatre as camera is not allowed during the musical drama.

































The scene which i like the most of this drama is when Cogsworth(the clock) and Maurice( the candle) and also Mrs.Pot( the teapot) singing "Be Our Guest" to Belle( the beauty) when she was locked in the castle. I love both Cogsworth and Maurice sooo much.. Their acting and singing skills are really excellent!! I am satisfied, instead very satisfied with it!!

The start of three months' holiday!!

Wow! finally i am free from the torturing 2nd year exam already! Life without exam at all is of course excellent but life after long torturing exam is even better!! You will appreciate every single freedom u have now to the fullest!

It's such a long time since i update my post, blame the tonnes of studies during my exam and lots of activities after exam.hehe.

So wat have i been doing these few days?
Tues: Pharmacology paper ended at 4.15pm. woohoo!! Jun tae's korean birthday party at 7pm. He can cook very well too!!

Wed: Shopping and potluck and catching up with friends

Thurs: Attended a conference in Mercure Hotel and made mini muffins for OCF end year celebration

Here's the catch:
By attending the boring, torturing one and half hour conference, and guess what? They gave every single one of us a free iPod shuffle(1GB) , totally free!! and u just have to wait for the 6 weeks delivery plus $10 postage fees which i think it's super worth it!!. OH i m so soooo happy as it's something i always wanted!! haha..Thanks God for ur generousity!! I cant stop laughing now..hehe.



And tonight i am going to watch Beauty and The Beast Musical Drama in royal theatre!! I really want to fly now as i have been waiting for this for a long time too. As this fairytale story has a wonderful meaning to me and i have many sweet memories with this show..

I am really happy now!!

Long Lost Photo!!

Oohoo.two down and two more papers to go!! hehe..

Anyway, i found this long-lost photo from my primary school friend's profile. wow..i hardly have any primary sch photos as i dont like to pose in front of camera when i was children (i dunno whether u all also experience this or it's just me??) So this is sooo 100x precious to me le.hehe..

Wow, i think i look quite different from the photo. i wonder can u all spot me?hehe.
Hint: i got long hair, quite chubby, fierce-looking, play important role in class. hehe. i think the hints pretty obvious right? hehe.

I missed Goldclass movie!

i have this GOLDCLASS movie ticket by Magnum ice cream and due to the close dateline, i just gave in to anna. Argh!! Goldclass!! i have always wanted to experience the goldclass treat le. The lifegroup is enjoying their movie now and i am stucked at home studying for tomorrow exam.

But never mind le, i believe that my this sacrefice will bring me a greater reward one. who knows?maybe i will end up having more Goldclass tickets leh?hehe.. i must be dreaming le..

God, pls grant me the strength and wisdom which i need so much tomorrow. U r good and faithful and i believe that u will guide me through this period. Help me not to panic and stay calm for the whole exam! And that i wont have to retake or resit. Oh my dear God, i uphold the whole exam into your mighty hand and trust u wholeheartedly! Amen!

Tomorrow is the DAY!!

Yes! Tomorrow is the Practical exam which i worry the most among all the papers! Reasons?
- I tend to panic and go blank for 15 min when looking at the questions
- i will measure every single volume used to dispense the drugs correctly while my seniors told me not to during exam.(But of course in reality this is a must if not..there will be many innocent victims) so should i waste my time to measure e exact volume or just a rough volume since no one going to administer my drugs? Exact ?Rough? argh..
-u still have to retake the course if u fail this paper even though u did very well for other papers

YY! breathe! u r going to be alright tomorrow! Breathe again! God is at my side!

I have a bad exam timetable:
29th oct (Wed) - Practical
4th nov (Tues) -Pharmaceutical Science
7th (Fri) - microbiology
11th (Tues) - Pharmacology

My new stress relief!! It never fails to give me a laugh no matter how many times i have watched it. But the lameness rate is 10/10!! hehe..

Wow!! I really cant imagine how would i be in next year which has more subjects, exams, and placements!! I need to stock up the blackmores executive stress relief pills already.hehe..
However, YY is very blessed with many motivations by the friends around! Thank God!

Test.. Exam..Presentation!!

Argh..had been really busy this week!! Went to classes in uni and in clinical school, had 30% test on friday, another one coming on monday, presentation on coming tuesday, and the real big exam is around the corner!! God, i need more time and most importantly better time management le..

Saturday is always a lovely and relaxing day(minue the exam stress), but due to exam appraoching, i have to stay at home most of the time..haiz.the weather was so good(sunny and warm) and i will definitely not staying at home if there's no EXAM! However, i went to zee hame's house to have brekkie at 8.30am and had nice yummy pancakes, hashbrowns, chocolate peppermints, fruits and also had a long talk with the guys about current world's economy status.haha.such a heavy topic ya!! but was quite fun le, reminded me of how my dad used to talk to his business partners.hehe. A nice brekkie is always good for stress relief. Thanks Zee Hame and others!

After that, stayed at home to study microbiology which is killing me chronically.hehe.Then went to jade's surprise birthday party in college around 9pm. Happy 20th Birthday Jade!! The party was really cool with all the lightings, balloon decorations, hip hop music and of course the pretty birthday girl. But couldn't stay too long in the party as still have tonnes of studies waiting for me at home.

oops, my youngest brother just messaged me, asking me to online now, as he is really nervous about his PMR on this monday. He is sooo cute le..hehe
Woonchun: I m sure u will do well in the exam, dont panic as God knows very well how much effort u have put into this exam and He will bring you thru. I am looking forward to the holiday with u in december, missing u veyr much my dearest brother!!
Words can be said easily but when i am the one facing the exam( which is the situation i am in now) i failed to convince myself. Oh Yin yin, why why why??

A Happy and Relaxing Friday. I got the best mummy in the world!

It's almost 12am now and surprisingly i am still blogging (as YY shud be sleeping soundly by this time).hehe. As i am really happy and feel loved today and all these are because i have the sweetest mummy in the world!!

7am: woke up and did abit of medicinal chemistry's revision. Feel very tired and thus didn't get to absorb much

9am: watch tvb gameshows, super trio. laughed alot when watching but will cry alot when exams approaching (YY!! u nid to study hard le)

11am: went to coles and wings and co to buy the ingredients for making "murtabak" like indian roti bread and beef mince.( more posts about this soon..)

Highlight:
2pm: waited in bus stop with rebecca and then rushed back to house which is very near to use toilet. BUT one bus came and i had to run from my house to the bus stop. The worst thing is it just passed thru me by seconds and poor rebecca had to run together with me to catch the bus as it would stop in the next station. (we thought that we are 100metres runner, capable enough to catch e bus if we keep on running to where it stopped, haha..poor rebecca who seldom exercises)
Haha.. i really think it was fun to exercise like this, i know rebecca surely opposes this!! Can we have more this kind of exercise? hehe. She felt like vomiting after running from york st. to woolworth (which are less than 1.5km)

3pm: we reached idoo salon, the famous korean hair salon in hobart. e korean boss suggested many hair styles for rebecca but she choose a fresh, shoulder-length hair cut after that. Me, being indesicive, asked e boss many questions on whether i shud just cut fringe or trim e whole hair too (i think e boss feels very irritated by me..hehe.but i have customer's rights mah)I choose to cut fringe onli after all e magazine's browsing and questioning.
I really love rebecca's haircut, she looks so much fresher and younger with the shoudler length hair. but i cant cut my hair short as my mum will never allowed it.

But i will be obedient to her as she is really a very sweet and lovely mummy and i know that she always wanted e best for me. She sent me a sms as below:

Dear my daughter, I saw your pictures in facebook and u r really my pretty girl. You look prettier than me when i was young and i am so happy for u.

Short and simple sentence. But yet heart-warming and touching enough. Although ppl may not agree about this, but what matters e most is that i know that i am loved very much by my parents. And i am beautiful in their eyes and in God's eyes too, no doubt about that!

Thanks Mummy, I am only beautiful when i am loved by you! And without ur cares and loves, i will look terrible and helpless. Love u mummy and i am missing u veyr much now.

Greentea ice-cream cake always my favourite!!

Wow..our lifegroup's leader Terence made greentea ice-cream cake for Pearlyn's birthday. And our lifegroup was so lucky to be able to have it after the bible study le.. I am really a big fan of Green tea, any food with green tea in it will make my day le..hehe. And somemore it's a combination of ice-cream and cake and all i can say is superb!!

I like the bittertaste of greentea, but due to the high caffeine content, i cant take too much of it or else i will end up lying on my bed with eyes opened. But i really couldnt resist the temptation of it and so i had a big slice of it.hehe. couldnt care much about the calories and amounts of fats that will be added to my body after consuming the large piece of cake (somemore eating it at latenight). as it was really irrestible le..hehe.

The cake was so good that it was finished by few minutes and i couldnt have the second piece of it.
Okay! i had decided to try all kinds of food that has green tea in it eg. green tea mochi, green tea pancake, and etc. I wonder is there any green tea mooncake, green tea biscuits, green tea pao?? hehe. I really wanted to try as nothing can go wrong with greentea le.. So if anyone found any greentea food, please inform me okie? please..

Yumm..hope that i can dream of greentea icecream cake tonight..I love Greentea!!! THANK God for creating this wonderful food!!

My 1st Post

Hooray!! Here come my first online blog!!
I used to write down my daily stories in book or in microsoft word document but after much influences by some online blogs, i decided to give it a try!! I always thought that to create an online blog is very "ma fan" but thanks to our advanced technology, online blog isn't that messy as i thought also. And most importantly, i can upload some cute pictures on it and i dont have to fear that i accidentally lost my diary or misplaced it somewhere. As all my friends will know that YY is a blurr gal and always lost her stuffs one.

So this is my 1st post, wan to keep it short as i still got alot studies to finish!! Pray that i will be consistent in updating my posts here..hehe..

p.s. pls forgive me for all da grammar errors and e randomness as i didnt check them and just uploaded it according to my mood..hehe.(that's also e reason y i don't like online blog before that as i have to correct n double check my poor grammars!!
